Both companies have been involved in a joint project for developing and supporting SAP Education’s move to DITA for all of the company’s training content. *instinctools’ DITAworks and Componize’s likewise named Componize DITA CMS are both designed to overcome the challenges enterprises face when moving to a modular XML documentation standard such as DITA. DITA (an acronym for Darwin Information Typing Architecture) is a structured XML framework for creating, managing, and publishing modular content.

It also has a comprehensive web user interface for working with DITA based documentation in CMS environments supporting CMIS.
